Individually, musicians don’t need a conductor.
A band of five people doesn’t need one either.
But put them together in an orchestra and without a conductor they sound terrible.
When people start out in business, it’s all them.
Then they hire a few people and they work well together.
But as they continue to grow, at some point they have an orchestra.
At this point, the conductor becomes the most important member of the team.
Even though they appear to be doing the least; after all, they’re just waiving their little baton around!
Because without them the business is out of time and ‘sounds’ awful.
(The business owner doesn’t need to conduct, in fact they’re often not the best conductor and problems arise because they think they are.)
We wouldn’t give away parts of our properties. We wouldn’t give away our money without a positive reason.
If you keep saying ‘the bad guy won’ and judging everyone who supports them as an idiot, then you are playing right into the ‘good vs evil’ fallacy.
