Recently we ran a PPC marketing campaign and the backend wasn’t set up properly so all the leads were lost. I once competed in a ski competition where my ski ejected on take off and I proceeded to do a double back flip with one ski without any chance of landing well.

What matters at your company? Is it what’s written on the walls or in the employee handbook? The dress code? How you speak?

Or is it what you produce and why?

Where are you getting educated? Who are you reading? Who are you listening to? Ten years ago you had to actively seek out what to read, listen to, or attend. You probably did this based on having a question you wanted to answer, or a gap in your knowledge or skill that you wanted to fill.

Most people I talk to about websites say they’d never use popups because they don’t like them. Guess what, it doesn't matter what you like?

Are website popups good? The answer is that it depends on factors no one can know.

I like shortcuts. I’m always looking for the quickest way to get somewhere. “If it’s worth getting there it’s worth getting there fast” is my mantra for driving my car.

But all shortcuts aren’t created equal. There are wise shortcuts and lazy shortcuts.
