If the rest of your life was going to be like today, would you be happy?
Because the reality is, every day is probably going to be similar…
Knowing this, what if you decided your happiness mattered, and you took steps every day to create habits that led to happiness?
For me those habits are meditation, exercise, sleep, prioritising and connecting with my kids, connecting with Julia, doing meaningful work, and creating a physical environment I enjoy.
Notice that only one of those things is related to physical ‘things’.

We sometimes believe strength means self-sufficiency — that being independent means being isolated.
We often try to outrun the storm, emotionally, physically, spiritually.
We’re entering an age where machines do our thinking before we’ve even had a chance to try.
In church the other day, the pastor gave a sermon that really stuck with me. He talked about two people.
