Completing a plan for work.
I was tired and had a really sore neck.
However…
I know the importance of habits, of maintaining consistency.
So…
I did a workout with more stretching than usual and doing one set instead of three.
I wrote a blog about not feeling like writing a blog.
And I completed the plan.
Waiting for inspiration to hit, for the right time, is a sure-fire way to never do anything.
Sometimes we just need to show up, do something, even if we’re dragging ourselves into it.
We sometimes believe strength means self-sufficiency — that being independent means being isolated.
We often try to outrun the storm, emotionally, physically, spiritually.
We’re entering an age where machines do our thinking before we’ve even had a chance to try.
In church the other day, the pastor gave a sermon that really stuck with me. He talked about two people.
Hope doesn’t mean pretending everything is okay.
