Heaven is not wanting to be anywhere else.
When we live on purpose there is no reason to want to be anywhere else.
To live too much in the past is to live in fear and regret; fear of the consequences of that past, fear that the best is behind us, regret for things that happened.
To live too much in the future is to make the present wrong, and to miss out on life.
Life is here, and now. There is no past, there is no future, there is only this present moment. It is the journey that matters, the destination is an illusion that is actually just part of the journey.
Knowing this, be here.
