The culture we live in amplifies our wants.
It also amplifies the ease of satisfying those wants.
As soon we get what we want, as soon as we fill that vacuum, we create a new vacuum, and the cycle continues.
And we are forever dissatisfied.
A better path might be to learn to want what we have and, where possible, to let go of wants rather than satisfy them.
