It’s all precious…

The other day, we dropped off Zara for her first day of high school in the morning and attended a friend’s child’s funeral in the afternoon.

As I was driving to school, it hit me: what wouldn’t those parents give to be dropping their son off at the start of the year?

But how often are we caught up in our heads, not really even there, not really engaging with what’s right in front of us?

There is nothing mundane, nothing unimportant; it’s only that sometimes we forget how precious everything is.
