Reasoning by analogy is the weakest level of reasoning, but it’s arguably the most powerful because it allows people to draw (often false) conclusions based on something they understand.
“You can’t make an omelette without breaking some eggs,” is literally true.
But it doesn’t support being a dick to your co-workers.
