HOPE
When you’re working hard, putting off happiness in the hope that through achievement you’ll realise it. There’s a pull here that keeps you moving.
REALISATION
You achieve the big stuff, and you realise it hasn’t led to happiness. It’s likely you’ll set bigger goals in the hope that will achieve happiness. At some point, you realise this is an endless cycle.
LETTING GO
Once you realise that no amount of achievement will lead to happiness, it’s time to go deeper. The only way to achieve true inner peace and happiness is to detach external achievement from it.
